A thread of energy.
Lucas Roy
I’m a self-taught British artist working across animals, flowers, seascapes and portraits, including familiar faces and characters. Expressive mark-making connects the work, bringing a sense of movement and feeling to each subject.
Exhibitions
Lucas Roy’s work has been shown in gallery presentations in Florida and Texas, USA and on TV shows.
Energy, in every form
My paintings move between animals, flowers, seascapes and portraits. Across each subject, I’m drawn to the same thread: energy, expressed through movement, texture, colour and the marks left on the surface.
